Gaaku is a 19-year-old young man living in a dilapidated ruin in 0+0, leading a poor and lonely life. One day, while walking down the street as usual, a Monk spots him and mistakes him for the notorious criminal Makuri Ryuichi. Following this misunderstanding, after some events between the Monk and Gaaku, the Monk takes him under his wing and brings him to the Aspin World, a dimension different from our own. With his entry into the Aspin World, the first link in the chain is set in motion. The unfolding events in Aspin, along with things called Nit and Essence, and many more surprises, await him.
