The Story of My Time Living A romantic comedy set in a college town, following two people in the final weeks before graduation whose lives are about to collide. The male lead is a quiet, introverted waiter who doesn’t get out much. He’s the kind of person who takes a while to open up, but once he does, he’s funny, charming, and fully present. After being dragged to a party by his best friend and roommate Mike, he does something out of character — he gets a girl’s number. He doesn’t text her. He doesn’t know why. Life gets in the way, or maybe he just can’t bring himself to take the risk. The female lead is a graduating senior who lights up every room she walks into without even trying. Outgoing and magnetic at a party, but quietly self-conscious underneath it all, always afraid of being too much for people. She’s got her best friend Kate, her younger-sister-energy roommate Maddie, and two weeks left before everything she’s known changes forever. She’s excited. She’s nervous. She’s trying to figure out who she is on the other side of all of this. Now he’s working a shift at a graduation dinner — just another night on the job — and she’s walking through the door as a guest. They don’t know yet that this night is going to change everything.
