Whispers Of Black Steel

In the shadow of the mountains, a boy with red eyes carries an ancient promise. Giovanni Zeppli was never meant to be ordinary. He swore he would never let the people he loves bleed while he stands helpless. That vow awakened something inside him — a protective Oni born not from rage, but from love so fierce it terrifies him. When a mysterious petite ninja girl drops from the rooftop and accuses him of being a gang leader, Gio’s quiet life explodes into chaos. Rei sees the power he tries to hide — and offers him a path to control it before it consumes him. Drawn into a hidden ninja family’s world of ancient rites and rigorous training, Gio must learn to walk beside the shadow within him rather than fight it or surrender to it. As he grows stronger, he discovers that his choices will shape more than just his own fate. Light and darkness can never be fully destroyed — only balanced. Slow-burn romance. Protective protagonist. Inner demon integration. Ninja training. Ancient bloodline legacy. And a love that refuses to let the world break.
