In the Meridian Union, a world ruled by a singular government, society is built upon a singular revolutionary technology: Synthetic Arcane (Synarc) particles. Synarc particles fill the atmosphere, allowing those with specialized neural implants to manipulate energy, matter, and force itself. In other words, magic. Everyone gets access to Synarc through a neural chip, but only a minute group has the capability to harness its power. In this solarpunk utopia, in the capital city of Shin Tamasek, lie two childhood friends: Bumi Tiang and Aurora Ling. Aurora, a gifted Synarc user. While Bumi, on the other hand, exists outside the system entirely. Born with a rare condition that prevents him from using Synarc at all. Aurora and Bumi will move through this world shaped by Synarc, corporate authority, and the unseen forces guiding the Meridian Union, where they begin to uncover how fragile that order truly is.
