Heresy of Gears

After the Archive ship emergency-dumps his pod onto the planet Aldria, Lt. Connor "Gage" Mack awakens from a 3,762-year cryosleep to find a world terraformed into a "fantasy Earth" populated by genetically spliced human-animal hybrids. He discovers that a religious hegemony known as the Primacy enforces a strict genetic caste system and bans advanced technology, viewing the original "Creators" as gods .  Stranded with only a recording of made by his long dead sister, Connor vows to use his technical knowledge to help a dissident movement fight for equality and spark a new scientific revolution .
