New Coast is an oppressive city ruled by the Warden and Authority. Inside the population’s heads, an individual chip set has been implanted. This determines their work, life patterns, and living conditions. Xavier, just another slummer of New Coast, envisions a city where the Warden and Authority are defeated. He finds out he might be a connector, a slummer who can circumvent his own chip set.
