The Fa’Raya Chronicles: Nascent Arcanum [A dark pirate fantasy epic] Max grew up knowing only two things: He might be the last of his kind—and he has to hide what he is to survive. Rescued as a child by Notorious pirate captain—Clint Taylor—Max learns what it means to live beyond the empire's reach. To be discovered means death to him and everyone who knows what he is. But some things can't be hidden forever... With the help of the crew that helped raise him, Max will finally face the evil that has shadowed over his entire life. A series of events unfold, and Max finds out the circumstances behind his birth; and the history of an ancient race. An emotional, action packed journey that explores real human connection in the face of horrible circumstances. ☆This is an intricate world built over the course of several years. Long running future content.☆ Last update: 5.16.26. Chapters collapsed for a (hopefully) cleaner reading experience. Slight editing of older chapters for flow & cadence.
