The Day of a Life in Isekai World ONESHOT

Just today, Jessica had to dodge her cupboard falling on her, stop no less than two poisoning attempts, and avoid enough traffic to be playing Frogger walking down the sidewalk. What if every original Earth in an Isekai plot was the same world? Everyday, countless people were hit by trucks, murdered in back alleys, and sacrificed themselves saving others. Their souls were transmigrated to other worlds where they lived as heroes. This Earth, suffering countless deaths, tried to research the phenomenon in order to stop it. Unfortunately, they failed despite their best efforts. When your time came, you would be killed and isekaied into a new world. If you were lucky, then you’d be brought back after your adventure was complete. With your powers to boot. Jessica Rain was one of those ‘chosen’ to be isekaied on her first day of high school. Her life was only saved by the intervention of her father. That should have been the end of it, but her soul was marked for death. Everyday, she must avoid several accidents in the making or become the next isekai protagonist. Many years later, Jessica now works a dead end office job. All she wants is to continue her career, find a husband, and start of family. But with death looming over her every passing second, can she reach her dreams? Or will her isekai adventure finally start? WHAT TO EXPECT: -A one chapter short story following Jessica Rain, an office worker who is trying to avoid getting isekaied and find love. -Explore a world that borders on dystopian as countless people get killed and thrown into different worlds, only to be replaced by fantasy creatures inhabiting human bodies. -This is the Fourth of six short stories I’ll be releasing.
