Winner of the April 2026 Royal Road Writathon challenge  System Apocalypse + New Teacher  = Teach To Survive! Will wanted to become a teacher in hopes of overcoming grief and crippling depression. He got the job, but he also got an apocalypse. Billions died and survivors were forced to gather experience points for their new galaxy or die trying. With every building on earth becoming a different style of dungeon, Will’s flavor of chaos is High School.  Can Will teach? No. Does being thrust in front of deadly monsters help him learn? Hell no. Does being given the ability to try again and again to figure out dungeon plot holes with the power of time-loop shenanigans help? We’ll see.  Will and his class of juniors are desperately trying to navigate this new reality. Unfortunately, the sadistic dungeon core principal has made it clear:  He wants his Dungeon School to be an insanely profitable experience point machine.
