The world was plagued with otherworldly beasts that surged from the rift that tore across the sky. From it, different beasts filled the earth, and alongside them, humanity adapted and awakened the ability to tame these beasts. However, most of these beasts weren’t able to be tamed, and they became the Blights. Over time, more people began to awaken the taming ability. Shiragami Tamer Gakuen was an Academy established to train those individuals. Itsuki Ichinose, however, never awakened the ability to tame these beasts. He lived a very peaceful life with his family until tragedy struck and his entire village, including his parents, was wiped out. His sister, however, got infected and gradually started showing signs of becoming what he now hunts. When she was discovered and almost killed, Itsuki pleaded with the Blight Hunters for his sister’s execution to be delayed until he found a cure for her condition. He knew it was impossible, but he was determined to do it. He scavenged low-rank dungeons alone and earned enough for his sister’s containment fee. After a normal day’s work, he ate bread—expired...bread, which caused him to choke and die. But for Itsuki, death was only the beginning. He reincarnated—as a demon. Alongside a system. The Yomigaeri. It improved the chances of him finding a cure for his sister by leveling up and earning Kizuna Points. His life just went from bad to…a cosmic joke. He risks being exposed as a demon. And he needs to find a cure for the only family he has left—before she turns into the very thing he hunts.
