by Faethyn
Autumn wanted the last year in her quiet college town to be normal. The murderer had other plans. Autumn Jagfield is cursed. Ever since she was born, Autumn has been able to see the remnants of any photograph taken, hanging as moments captured in time. Some fade after minutes, some after days, and some after weeks. She doesn't want to know why. All Autumn wants is to survive her senior year of college and make some lasting memories with her friends. But when one photograph taken at an odd angle hasn’t faded over winter break, Autumn gets nervous. She gets even more nervous when, the next day, she finds another moment hanging in the same place. Oh, and the bodies of two of her classmates, dumped where the photo was taken. The murders rock the sleepy college town as rumors fly, with professors and students alike taken in for questioning. Everyone seems to have an iron-clad alibi, and no one is talking. Everyone assumes that these murders are the worst tragedy that the college would see for many, many years, but Autumn knows differently. Just as the attention was starting to fade, another remnant appears on campus, taken just like the first. What to expect: > Cozy(ish) murder mystery on a college campus > Learning to use a hated ability > A dash of found family > And a sprinkling of slow-burn queer romance :) Updates: Thursdays every other week (Shooting for next chapter on 6/3)
