In a world beneath a violet sky and ancient forests, the warrior Iyomi confronts the legendary black dragon, Kuro no Kami, atop the ruins of the Akagi Forest. Armed with the mysterious Blade of Dusk, she defeats the creature after a fierce battle that shakes the very heavens. But victory brings no peace. As the dragon fades into thousands of glowing petals, a strange man appears, cloaked in shadows.
