The Gods rule the world. Each is born into a kingdom of their own, raised in isolation until the day their protection falls. After that, they are forced into a world of conflict, where power decides everything and hesitation is punished. The Gods endure. Their followers do not. Isra was never meant for this world. Where others conquer without question, he hesitates. Where others act, he searches for meaning. But as war spreads and those around him begin to fall, that hesitation becomes harder to afford. In a world built on power, understanding isn’t enough. As alliances fracture and enemies close in, Isra is forced to confront something far more dangerous than war itself: the nature of the world he was born into. And some truths, once uncovered, demand a cost far greater than anyone is prepared to pay.
