UNYIELDING - A Military Progression Fantasy

UNYIELDING - A Military Progression Fantasy

by Rykaan

ActionAdventureDramaFantasyKingdom Building

Xavric was a farmer's son with four seconds of spear training and a place in the front line where conscripts go to die. The kingdom of Dren is falling apart. Its borders are shrinking, its armies are thinning, and when the enemy pushes forward, the crown does what it always does: it sweeps up every farmer and laborer it can find, hands them weapons, and fills the gaps in the line with bodies. Xavric was one of those bodies. He wasn't supposed to survive his first battle. He did. When the line broke and every conscript around him ran, he stayed. Not because he was brave. Not because he was skilled. Because something inside him wouldn't let him move backward. The system noticed. Now he carries a trait called [Unyielding] and the attention of a veteran who hasn't bothered training a conscript in years. The next battle is tomorrow. His shoulder still has stitches in it. His skills section reads "none." But the line is going to need holding again, and Xavric doesn't know how to stop. A military progression fantasy, following a conscript's rise from the mud to the ranks that shape the fate of nations.
