The Hillbilly Prince - Alternate Version

This is another version of the first chapter I posted. Its longer and more detailed. I am trying to derermine which version is liked best. The first one already posted is AI assisted. This version is 100% me and my mind. The story is about a man growing up in a small town, with no idea of his true hertiage. As a baby, he was fused with alien DNA from the crowned prince and sole heir to the Akarrian Emprie, which spans roughly 70% of the known universe. This Empire is millions of years old. The tradition is, the new emperor takes a bride from one of the new member worlds, and their child adds new DNA and abilities to the royal line. The new prince, Jazine, has a genetic defect that will take his life. The only match is a baby born on earth at the exact same moment as he, according to the "Cosmic Clock" When they arrived, the donor child, Jason, has just drowned. They must quickly save him, and extract some of his DNA to save the prince. It is an experimental procedure, and something goes wrong. The two babies end up with their DNA being FUSED into one child. The Empire is in war that has lasted for millions of years with a race that travels from planet to planet and comsumes the inhabitants as food. They eat them alive and wipe them out, this also fuels their reproduction like a plague. They leave a few alive when they move on to repopulate so they can return and do it all over again. And yes, they have been to earth before..SIX times before... A million year old prohecy tells of the child "Born of two who becomes one and will lead the Empire to a final victory that will rid the universe of this plague once and for all. He and his bride will lead the Empire to a new level of peace and prosperity." She even created a painting showing the Emperor and his Queen Empress.  Now join us as we tell the story about this fantastic journey, full of twists and turns, as this child and future Emperor of the universe learns what he truly is.
