Rebellion Against the Heartless Stars

Goldin Al’Nur is a Paladin and one of eight elite soldiers sworn to defend humanity from the impossible. After years of watching an all-consuming madness devour civilization, the survivors have reached their breaking point. From deep within underground bunkers, the ultimatum is issued: Goldin and his team have seventy-two hours to sever the source of the insanity, or the  ends not in madness, but in the "mercy" of nuclear fire. High above the twisted Canadian wilderness, a single gunship carries the Paladins toward the epicenter: the Holy City of Eden. Once a pinnacle of human achievement, Eden has become a place where reality itself has come undone.  No army has ever pierced its gates; no soldier has ever returned. Inside the glittering dome of Eden, Goldin will face horrors beyond comprehension and the true force unraveling the world. It is a suicide mission born of a savage refusal to fade away; a final stand to ensure that if mankind vanishes from the stars, it does so with its teeth at the universe's throat.
