Sanguine Knight: The Veteran's Regression [Grimdark, Regressor, Progression]

"Sleep among the ashes, insect." Those mocking words were the last thing Kael Draven heard before the enemy general's blade severed his head. After ten agonizing years of surviving like a wild dog in blood-soaked trenches, Kael met his end drowning in absolute despair and regret. Yet, Death refused to claim his soul. When Kael opened his eyes, he found himself thrust back in time. He was eighteen years old again, thrown back into the hellish days at the Aethelgard Military Academy. He regained his senses just as his face was being shoved deep into the mud by a group of arrogant nobles. These were the very same people who would one day ruin his future and steal the woman he loved. They laughed cruelly, assuming Kael was still the same pathetic and helpless boy he used to be. They could not have been more wrong. Armed with the lethal instincts forged on the battlefield and a Forbidden Bloodline awakened by a primal thirst for carnage, Kael embraces his second chance at life. In the past, he could only crawl and beg for mercy. Now, he will make absolutely certain those haughty nobles drown in their own blood.
