Sometimes I Dream of Whales

Louis Hearn has no ambition, no drive, and no plans for the future. But he wasn't always like that. After his mother's death and father's disappearance, he lost all desire to succeed along with the ability to picture images in his own mind. However, his dreams are vivid and often lucid.On his eighteenth birthday, he discovered why. None of it is natural. Part of his soul was ripped out of his body, the backlash of which killed his mother and caused his father to flee. The dreams that have defined Louis's life turned out to be doorways into hidden worlds. One where dreamwalkers like him walk through sleeping minds, build cities in mountain valleys where no map has ever charted, and chisel their own souls into beautiful gems. A secret government agency promptly picks him up, and ships him into the Rocky Mountains with promises of helping him out. However, the wound in his soul is unlike anything the experts have ever seen, and the person who broke him is still out there. No particular update schedule currently, just doing this for fun!
