Most people level, but most people grew up in a universe that had the system. Rob was yanked out of a normal day into a god's laboratory, juiced with deific power, and granted a broken, chaotic class. He doesn't get experience when he kills; he gets a monster's soul to equip in one of his stat slots. Staying ahead of the power curve means killing the most powerful monsters he can while surviving a world he doesn't understand. Now he's stuck in a broken, uncanny valley tutorial modeled on misunderstood elements of Earth and dodging other pissed off elite tutorial participants and putting down whatever office-worker and mall-patron monsters the system throws at him. If he wins, he gets powerful and maybe even gets to go home. If he loses, he dooms the Earth to demolition. Riding a sentient grocery store mobility scooter that runs on a high-octane mixture of giggles and violence, Rob is trying to stay sane and alive long enough to beat the tutorial, save the Earth, and maybe make his displeasure known to the gods themselves. - Consistent M-F updates at 8:00 AM PT - Written up to the end of book 1 - Patreon 20 Chapters ahead
