A boy once dreamed that he would be the best knight alongside his friend. He had truly believed that their rivalry would last until one of them succeeded. Oh... how wrong he was. To think his best friend would die, he would be shunned at the academy he’d looked up to, and his only family would be killed by a deemed, random attack. It was only right that he couldn’t trust anyone anymore. No one was left to go back to, and no one remembered who he truly was. Victor would be the rogue, the mad one that everyone distastes but cannot rival. He was a ticking time bomb waiting to burst but what more could make him break? Could it be the fact the the very people he sided with were the very attackers he had sought to kill? Or the birth of a new start where the truth is begging to surface.
