Darkness swallowed my vision.I couldn’t feel my body—my arms refused to move, my legs were gone. It felt like I had been buried alive in a concrete coffin. The last thing I remembered was this:I, Zora Marvis, had been crushed beneath a speeding truck. Then a voice cut through the void—flat, monotone, completely devoid of emotion.I couldn’t understand it. My mind was too foggy, my memories shattered into fragments. When I finally regained consciousness, I was lying on grass. The world felt… wrong. The trees towering above me were impossibly विशाल. A rat—no, something like a rat—moved nearby, yet it was larger than me. Larger than me? …What? I looked at myself. I wasn’t human. I was a metallic orb—smooth, curved steel forming my body, glowing faintly with a saffron light. And then there was the voice. It appeared again—along with text, hovering at the edge of my mind, issuing commands. Missions. Before I could process anything, the rat lunged. I reacted on instinct, rolling sharply to the side. The creature slammed into a tree trunk—only to impale itself on a jagged splinter. It died instantly. I stared in silence… then mentally thanked whatever invisible force had just saved me. This was the first challenge I faced in this strange world. And somehow, I knew it wouldn’t be the last.
