The Ashen Throne

It was just another ordinary day, in the ordinary lives of most people. Then nature screamed. Storms. Earthquakes. And then — a meteoroid. Human civilization — gone in an instant. And among the countless who perished that day was one ordinary boy, buried under the debris. But death, it turned out, had other plans. He woke up somewhere else. A strange world. A strange voice. A system he didn't ask for and barely understood — placing a crown on the head of a man who had never once dreamed of wearing one. Now he is a king.
