SPACE QUEEN: Episode 1

If you’re reading this, I’m automatically assuming you know what Warhammer 40k is. Have you heard of Space King, dear reader? That cartoon on YouTube that is a 100% legally distinct parody of Games Workshop’s grimdark science fantasy, which actually tries to make Warhammer funny again by capitalizing on mentally ill teenage boy humor? The signature catchphrase defining the show’s comedy is NO GIRLS ALLOWED!… Which means it’s a show made by the guys and for the guys, according to the producers.  But what if I told you that I am currently in the process of making a feminist version of Space King, complete with the same type of immature humor, just inverted?  In this tale, a tyrannical galactic human matriarchy uses Hive-Warriors, monstrous insect-human hybrids with varied designs worth depicting in entomologist sci-fi artwork, to fight its wars and enforce its rule, causing chaos throughout the cosmos.  Here, we are going to prove that putting women in charge of everything doesn’t necessarily guarantee a better world or a better future for humanity. Quite the opposite, in fact.  This is a story of what happens when feminism takes things way too far, drawing power from the Hive Mind to impose its will on the galaxy.  And to make the satire STING even more, the main cast of Hive Warriors will be named after popular strong female characters in various media franchises and fictional properties, acting as grotesque parodies of their original counterparts. PRAISE BE TO SPACE QUEEN!
