Our saviour is Mac...maybe

Mac wasn't one for people or adventures.  Actually he was happy with just him and his dog.   Until he was forced to leave his life, jump through a magical portal and embark on a mission he had no idea he was picked for.  Orcs, wizards, goblins, and every other magical creature he never knew existed is out to either kill him, rob him or just use him while he tries to complete his mission so he can go back home.  Or die from the brain aneurism he may be having. Mac is going to have to step up and be the hero he never wanted to be and the warrior he has no skills to be. Oh, and his dog now talks.
