Soul Library: The Price of Memory

Kyo is a young man who is willing to risk everything to protect his sibling. During a deadly chase one night, while trying to safeguard a mysterious jewel in his possession, he gets cornered and his escape ends in “death.” But for him, death is not the end. Kyo finds himself in a place called the “Soul Library.” There, a being named Femon, who introduces herself as the supervisor of the Library, tells him that he is dead and has now become part of this system. The world Kyo has entered is far more complex than he ever understood. The winged entity he encountered and figures like Femon belong to a system that operates beyond normal human perception. In this system, “souls” are not merely spirits—they are part of a structure of storage, processing, and control. Femon’s words only deepen Kyo’s confusion: nothing in this place is simple, and everything comes with a price. The only clear truth Kyo holds onto is this: his sibling is still alive. That knowledge becomes the only thing keeping him grounded in this unknown world. However, the rules of the Soul Library and the beings he will encounter will constantly make his goal more dangerous—and more uncertain.
