This chronicle recounts the origin and the beginning of Ark-2's journey—better known as Koo Ja-yoon—within the shared universe envisioned by this author. When a young girl escaped the clutches of horror hidden beneath the world's veneer of normalcy and hope, her destiny had already condemned her to be swallowed by the depths of the abyss. Given her existence in a world where so many others walk their own paths, there will be notable variations from the original plot. ​A free adaptation of Park Hoon-jung's film, "The Witch Part 1: The Subversion," and the expanded universe surrounding it.
