A twelve-part series of short stories about a former mercenary captain going on a quest to break curse before his prophecy comes true and drowns him in an ocean of blood. Along the way he meets vampires, living dolls, unicorns, harpies, and dragons. This was written as part of a year-long writing contest called Year of the Relic, inspired by the PlayStation classic "Threads of Fate." Each chapter is limited to around 2,500 words and was inspired by a prompt.
