A middling mage attempting to finnaly advance to the most prestigious rank of grandmaster, he studies and attempts an achievement of equal significance, the until then thought impossible, spatial travel, yet the experiment goes wrong, and he is teleported not to the other edge of the country, but a completely foreign world, were normal people are much more regressed technologically and socially and even the approach of mana takes the completely different form of cultivation. Staranded in an unfamiliar place, without language skills and knowledge of local society and custom, he must establish himself, and maybe if possible find a way back home.
