Just... differently.They still work, still eat, still sleep, and still hold those goddamn phones.Just with a little more shuffling. Then the evil gods noticed.And decided it looked fun. Mutations started spreading across the earth—abilities, powers, things that shouldn't exist attached to zombie pips who were just trying to commute to work. Night vision… but only works in daytime.Iron skin… but turned magnetic, every metal object in the vicinity flies toward them.???Yeah.. That kind of ability exists here. Even the animals weren't spared. Some mutated zombies played the hero.While others treated civilized zombie society like their personal playground.Making playthings out of pips who just wanted to live their normal shuffling lives. Civilized zombie society fell into panic. Nobody except Mizuki Sou slept through all of it.He woke up Saturday morning. The only human left on earth.
