When Dante turns eighteen, he begins having dreams of a power-using fashion model from 500 years ago, Giorgio Valentine, and his journey to stop Nero Leonelli from opening the Apostles' Cabinet and becoming an immortal Thread: a person who lives between the land of the living and the dead.  But the dreams are just the start for Dante. His legacy entails mortal fights against deadly power-users and joining the Midnight Spire Conspiracy, a group determined to protect the public from Yokai. Dangerous plots are all around, and the name Nero Leonelli has resurfaced, along with the location of the Apostles' Cabinet, which has the power to unleash chaos onto the world.
