"Death is no longer an end. It’s a data leak." In 2046, the Synapse Recovery Act allows the state to harvest the last ten minutes of a victim’s memory to solve crimes. Elias Thorne is the best 'Sync-Scraper' in the business—a man who dives into the minds of the dead to find their killers. He’s cold, efficient, and deeply in debt. But during a routine harvest of a Jane Doe, the system glitches. In the girl’s final moments, she isn't looking at a stranger. She’s looking at Elias. He is the one holding the blade. He is the one ending her life. The problem? Elias has never met her. And according to the timestamp, the murder hasn't happened yet. Trapped in a decaying digital loop where the past is rewritten by the future, Elias must hunt himself across a neon-soaked wasteland before the 'future' catches up to the 'present.' What do you do when the evidence proves you’re a killer, but the crime hasn't even been committed?
