by Osman A.
Oswald Jack can't talk to his parents. Not because he's angry. Not because they're cruel. His mind just... blanks. Every. Single. Time. Then he wakes up in a world of floating islands, cat-eared maidens, and a video game-style skill menu that actually works. Finally-a place where he doesn't freeze. Where he can speak. Where he can fight. Where he might even matter. But the harder he fights to save this world, the harder it fights to keep him. And somewhere between a dragon that calls him "master" and a violet-haired assassin who won't stop healing him, Oswald realizes the truth: He's becoming the hero he never was at home. Which means eventually... he'll have to go back.
