Things end in ways they should have—maybe it’s a path set by fate, or by a higher hand—but it’s never easy. Endings come with baggage we can’t hope to carry, yet we must live with it every single day. People and moments come and go, sometimes leaving relief, sometimes leaving scars. Accepting what has passed doesn’t always make it easier; sometimes, it makes the weight feel heavier. It’s a process that can build a person—or break them entirely. A reality that can’t be undone, no matter how much effort is poured in. When it’s over, it’s over. You either live through it, or you don’t. Life is a one-way trip, and it always has been—and always will be.
