Of Order, Hysteria and Witchery

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The task of writing the synopsis of my book falls to me Editor? Isn't this your job? Fine then! This synopsis will be the bestest of synopsises ever. Zero spelling mistakes. BE ENTRANCED READER. (Editor remember to make sure the rainbow text gets through. I don't know how to use this 'mark up' language, but what I do know is that the modern audience is attracted to all caps, bold letters, and colours. If it doesn't, I dunno just apply every text effect and call it a day. Substance is overrated anyways. ) Okay so in this book (technically writing challenge as of now but I'm aiming for the big leagues)  I kill a lot of people. If that turns you off, THEN YOU AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO READ MY BOOK. There Editor, my job is done. The lesser minds have been culled. All that is left is the target audience, one who enjoys mindless violence and will truly appreciate my prose. With Love ~ Vile Authority requires order. Order requires rules. Hysteria, that manifestation of emotion runs anthesis to this. That disgusting Hysteria, which is being backed by a cabal of mages, all intent on destroying our society. When the bug’s bitten, it may be too late the save the patient. All I know, is that I must do what I can. The mandate has been presented to me by the Cabinet, and I must fulfil it, or die trying. Only they know best, and I am the arbiter of their will. Leading a new Department of Magical Incidents, and leaving my military past behind, can I surmount the threats that challenge us, from both outside and within? Note to Editor : Is this appropriate for a synopsis? Should I be writing in a more objective third person? I'm doing this for your sake, but let me know if I should change anything. You haven't really given me much guidance, and I'm not an aspiring writer. I'm not your Major any more either, feel free to criticize me. Yours Truly - Aichele Editors Note - I have no idea how to write a synopsis. I thought it'd be best just to get them to try writing one then combine them but- I'll leave it to your judgement whether it's engaging or not. I can't claim to be a good writer either. This book might get a little messy, but I want some record of what happened all those years ago, and these two are the only people who've witnessed it and are still around. So welcome, to our rambling, not so well edited, book. It's not perfect, but it's our book. Not just the Major's, and certainly just not Vile's.
