Guiding the Legendary Hero

Two unlikely heroes meet in an incredibly improbable twist of fate that was never supposed to happen to begin with. Micah wasn't anyone special, just a regular 22-year-old girl on the way to her family's home. She's also a complete game addict to an indie MMORPG who’s on her way to being ranked #1 as a Top Tiered Alchemist. Mikey, on the other hand, was really special. A 10-year-old boy who is currently going through his 13th regression. A stormy journey through the seas causes a freak accident on the ship they’re boarding. Everyone else was fated to drown, except Mikey, including his family. Their fate was never supposed to connect in all of his lives, but with a single impulsive decision, she changed fate’s trajectory. Just before Mikey falls off the ship to join his family, she jumps to save him, clutching him tight in her arms as they dive into the unforgiving void of the sea. Only for her to wake up and find herself in a surprisingly familiar world with familiar equipment and skills. And a really, really familiar kid. Who's apparently supposed to be THE Hero King Michael?! Mikey wasn't exactly pleased either to have to babysit a brand new variation to his world. But unfortunately for both of them, they'll need each other to get through the story set out for him by the very gods themselves.  If only they wouldn't kill each other first in the process. What to expect:  - 25 to 30 chapters, a short novel filled with 30% action, 25% adventure, 20% the two MCs trying to kill each other, 14% comedy and 1% tradgedy. - Optimistic OP MC that fumbles with her newfound powers but tries her hardest to help anyway. - Found family with a side of Cain and Abel sibling love/hate - Comedy grounded by reality + Satire with complete (dis)respect to all of the tropes - Absolutely unbalanced power system and undeserved Progression filled with cheats and gaming the system Updates M/W/F if the writing gods will permit it [Deadline for the end of this novel would be 04/30/2026]
