M’uh’taiyusk has evaluated forty‑two million galaxies, fifteen billion planets, and exactly two intelligent species. Earth is not one of them. When the Galactic Committee sends this burned‑out, rodent‑ worshipping bureaucrat to file a last‑minute “independent assessment” of a pathetic blue ball scheduled for demolition, he expects a quick survey, a few unflattering charts, and maybe a drink. Instead, he finds a world of baffling rituals and weaponized mediocrity: bars that serve mind‑altering “gynnan tonnyx,” temples of consumption called Wal Mart, a language that folds his thoughts in half (Japan), religions that can’t decide what happens to mice after they die, and a growing mouse cult using his drunken rant as scripture. Worst of all, he accidentally develops feelings—for Mus musculus, for a hilariously round housecat, and, against his better judgment, for the planet he was sent to condemn. With a commemorative firework aimed at the solar system and a ticking countdown in his ear, M’uh’taiyusk has sixty human minutes to weaponize bureaucracy, outmaneuver his own Committee, and file a report so cautious they can’t blow Earth up without opening three sub‑committees and an ethics inquiry. Earth in Review: An Exercise in Futility is a darkly comic, footnote‑laden tour of humanity from the outside in—a story about rodents, paperwork, and the small, ridiculous things that might just save the world.

Traffic and conversion both sit mid-field for a story this size. Growth here compounds from consistency: steady cadence feeds traffic, and a sharper hook lifts what each view is worth.
