ARTURO - A legend reborn

The year is 2165 and Earth is in the midst of major global climate change where average daily temperatures now reach 30°c all year round. However, our story begins pre-history around the time of Atlantis, where readers are taken on a journey over the Millennia to briefly learn about our hero and his past exploits; feasting their imagination on mystical wonders long ago forgotten, and new technologies yet to be invented. The lead character Markus is just your average middle aged guy until he is chosen [guided to] an artefact that triggers an ancient 'Immortal Summons' which resurrects a warrior who is sent by the ancient gods 'to protect mankind' in their hour of need ... only this time, it is the planet the warrior will protect - from mankind. This warrior Arturo, along with trusted side-kicks, go head-to-head with corrupt Corporations polluting the planet, with the scum dealing in the sickening trade of human trafficking, and with poachers dealing in animal slaughter, which by now, has made most of the planets iconic wildlife extinct. Throw into the mix ruthless mercenaries, kidnap, murder, and shocking finale that will grip readers to the very end.
