“The Goddess smiles upon you. Do not mistake that for a good thing.” Natalie is a junior member of the Epionine academy of the Morphean Order, training under a Great Mother to administer spells and to one day have the chance to serve as the mouthpiece of the Goddess. One fateful night, she is whisked away to the royal palace, having caught the attention of the king. Expecting the worst, Natalie resigns herself to her fate, but the king's real intentions with her prove to be significantly more responsibility.
