Dean Oakley had one plan for the evening: get home, sleep, and stop thinking about the week he'd just had. He opened his apartment door and stepped into another world. Ilyrion has monsters with levels, adventurers who expect you to pull your weight, and a System that gives Dean a rare spatial class within hours of arriving. He can step through rifts and bend the space around him. He can't use a sword, read the local map, or pay for a meal. He also can't explain where he came from without sounding like he hit his head. So Dean does the only sensible thing. He finds work, learns to fight things that want to eat him, and tries not to notice that the System seems to treat him differently from everyone else. Being the lowest-level person in the fight is only funny until the wolves start looking at you. Somewhere out there is a way home. He'll need a lot more levels before he can go looking for it. What to expect: portal fantasy LitRPG, a teleporting rift-based class, steady progression with real stats, an adventuring party, a slow-building mystery, and a narrator who is very much learning on the job. A note from me: This is the first long thing I've ever written, so the first few chapters are honestly a bit rough. I was still figuring out how to write when I started. It gets a lot better as it goes, so if the beginning isn't doing it for you, try sticking with it until around chapter six. I'm planning to go back and clean up the early chapters at some point. New chapters come out on a steady schedule, and I'd love to hear what you think!

Traffic and conversion both sit mid-field for a story this size. Growth here compounds from consistency: steady cadence feeds traffic, and a sharper hook lifts what each view is worth.
