Marin didn't ask to be teleported into a soulless city built like a classic medieval town. One moment he was riding home after another life crushing shift, and the next, him and his entire train car of people were stranded in the odd, unnatural town, filled with lifeless people. They were given an ultimatum. Reach the top of the Tower of Stars, and any wish would be granted. Fail, and they would be lucky to fade into the obscurity. With no options, Marin was one of the first to ascend. On the first floor he finds a mysterious sword the system can't identify. One that gains the attention of the stars. The Tower is more than just a gauntlet, and as he ascends floor by floor, the truth of the Tower changes everything.
