Warning: this story covers sensitive content and mature themes, and they are by no means glorified. What to expect from this story: _ High Fantasy world _ Dark Fantasy elements _ Hard Magic system based around the five elements, mana and innate talents _Realistic stakes, unfair world _ World-Touring/ City-Hopping _Techniques which are fusions between magic and swordsmanship _ Non linear growth and hard earned victories _ Morally gray main character _Older mentor _Memory loss _ Suffering ( emotional and physical toll, high stakes power ) ... " They all have white hair, and every single one of them seems to be a deranged lunatic. They don't like to show themselves, and prefer to move from the shadows. Though it may seem so, those seven don't like to move as a single group, and even if they have THAT in common, many have conflicting interests between one another. Calling it a group is too much; it's more like a ragtag of sorts " Best Worst Mage is the story of a boy, Irei Kyogo, who, in a world full of all kinds of magic, finds himself unable to perform even the most basic spells. One day, he goes inside a forest, alongside the rest of his classmates, but something strange and highly unusual happens to him, and his path changes forever after that. He is unsure whether to tell someone, part of him is scared in doing so. What would happen to him if they found out ? _More about the main character: Irei Kyogo is ten years old, and he is a selfish and insufferable brat; he can cast darkness over the battlefield, blinding his opponents, and he can control repulsive and attractive forces, though at a high cost. Over the course of the story his personality gradually shifts into that of a quiet and reserved person, contrary to his young age. Note: certain parts of the story explore dark and sensitive themes, and a solitary reading experience is highly recommended.
