The Goddess of Fate, Rayleigh, is losing the war. This Demon King is unlike any before him. His actions cannot be predicted, his motives remain unknown, and his strength is unmatched. In a final act of desperation, Rayleigh expends all of her stored power to summon 2,500 individuals from another world- Earth. Of those, only 1,089 accept her call. Each one brings something unique to the table. Warriors, scientists, doctors, generals-people shaped by a world far different from this one. Now, she gambles everything on a single hope. That knowledge from another world can succeed where fate itself has failed.
