Gathering Fog

Neris is trapped on the bottom floor of a dungeon because she botched a teleport spell. In fairness, she was falling to her death, and the spell was both more powerful and more complex than anything she'd cast before. It also had the unexpected side effect of discorporating her body, and leaving her consciousness inhabiting a cloud of fog. At least she's alive. If the bookish mage wants to survive her situation, she'll need to master her new form's ability to devour and duplicate living things.
