Courier of Fate

Courier of Fate follows Leth Marr, a lowborn relay hand from Lantern Ford, who is thrust into a mission far above his station when a royal courier is murdered and the kingdom’s message chain begins to collapse. Ordered to carry sealed letters across a land already fraying under war, Leth rides west with Sera Chain, a hardened road guard who knows exactly how dangerous the job is. What begins as a delivery run through relay yards, market towns, ports, and frozen roads becomes a desperate race through suspicion, violence, and the kingdom’s own failing machinery.  As the road tightens around them, Leth is drawn into a struggle far larger than noble succession alone: a hidden truth that could harden the crownlands into war or tear them apart from within. Hunted by thieves, soldiers, smugglers, and ambitious men who think they understand the message better than he does, he must survive long enough to place the truth in the right hands. Courier of Fate is a dark epic fantasy about ordinary people trapped inside power, empire, and the brutal cost of carrying history.
