Super, hero?

From a lab, an alien creature was created. Civilization has long since fallen apart due to an unknown event that caused the brutal mutation and transformation of all life on planet Earth, yet, humanity is not without hope. Heroes guard cities and keep the peace, but when a creature emerges that does not fit within the natural ecosystem of the new primordial order of the world, how will everybody react to the new superhero?
