If you saw your future and saw a tyrannical dictator, what would you do?Peter Stelle is finally free. Free from the prison he made for himself. To celebrate his departure from his corporate fortress, Peter goes on a retreat to a forest near his hometown to hunt some invasive boars. Upon emerging from the forest, he finds himself decades in the future. A fake seizes control of his assets. Or is it a fake? It looks like Peter. It talks like Peter. It acts like Peter. But would Peter kill his friends? His family? His country? Was this peace? If this was the future, it was not what Peter had envisioned. Written for the April RR writathon.
