The Outworlder - System LitRPG

Lyra Solis was halfway through a coffee when the world ended. Not literally. But when she woke up in a jungle that shouldn't exist, with no memory of how she got there and a floating interface asking her to select a class, the distinction felt academic. The system calls her an Outworlder — a being from outside the native structure of this world. It's a rare classification. Four confirmed cases in four hundred years. She is the fourth. The jungle doesn't care about any of that. It just wants to eat her. Armed with a stick, a character sheet she barely understands, and the kind of stubborn analytical focus that got her through university, Lyra begins the work of staying alive in a world called Eryndor. The system will help — to a point. The levels will come — slowly. And somewhere in the depths of the jungle, something old is paying attention to the fact that an Outworlder has arrived. She's going to need to level up faster than that. NOTE:This is a very very early draft of the fiction, there will be continuity errors in the font/formatting and probably in the story itself as well.
