Shards of Life.

Gabriel Oaks went into the mountains for a hike to clear his head.  One moment, he was hiking and the next, he was falling into darkness. A fight between a dragon and phoenix later, he opened a box that should have never been opened.  He survived when he shouldn’t have. When Gabriel wakes, the world is no longer the one he left behind. Time has passed. Civilization has changed. And something called the Pandora System has taken hold of everything. Now stronger, faster, and far from normal, Gabriel is thrown into a reality where he has no idea what he’s doing. Good thing his system does...when he listens. Bad news? It won’t stop roasting him long enough to explain it either. That and he skipped the tutorial. Self-deprecating, stubborn, and completely out of his depth, Gabriel will have to fight, adapt, and figure things out the hard way. Good thing winging it is what he does best! Probably. He didn’t just survive the fall. He broke something he shouldn't have and something came back with him.
