When 59-year-old Darlene Harper wakes up in a sterile hospital room, she feels perfectly fine. The doctors assure her she’s merely suffered a minor neurological event, and her memories of her life, her husband, and her son are crystal clear. But the details aren't adding up. Her son looks a decade older than he did yesterday. There are no mirrors in her room. And the nurses are treating her not as a recovering patient, but as a martyr. What she finds hidden in her medical history is a truth far more terrifying than any disease... and a ticking clock that she may already out of time to stop.
