Robbie Knepper is twelve, newly chosen by Winter, and already having a terrible week. His dad is secretly a light dragon shifter. His mom is furious she was not told. His eleven-year-old sister has no fear and too many ideas. His older brother hates danger, heights, and chaos. Then the stuffed animals started coming to life. Now Sir Farts-a-Lot, Bear Bear, Sarge, Jim, and even the kitties are moving, talking, and somehow making everything both better and worse. Meanwhile, humans across the universe are being pushed into extreme emotions and fed on by the holiday realms. If Robbie and his family cannot stop it, whole worlds could be lost to fear, control, and chaos. Robbie did not sign up for any of this. Too bad Winter chose him anyway.
